Cynthia Escalante is a multidisciplinary designer, and her work covers a wide range of areas in design, including urbanism, architecture, and graphic design. Her practice wanders between graphic design and architecture boundaries and questions the role of graphic design in physical spaces and at urban scopes. Escalante was born in El Paso, TX, and raised in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua. In 2016 she received her Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Texas Tech University College of Architecture in El Paso. In 2020 she received an MFA in Graphic Design at California College of the Arts in San Francisco, CA.
